If you looking for the most comfortable and fast way to reach Bukit lawang we can organize for you a pick up/drop off from Kualanamu international airport by privat car for maximum 4 persons!

This pick up/drop of service includes transport by provide car with air conditioning to/from Bukit lawang and pick up or drop off from your guest house in bukit lawang.

Your driver will also stop on the way at ATM and MONEY CHANGER if needed.

The cost for the privat transfer is 700.000 IDR (42€) per car for maximum 4 persons. It will take 3 to 5 hours to reach Bukit lawang according to the traffic.

The adventure option

Public transport

This options by public bus to go to Bukit lawang will be an unforgettable adventure as you will share the bus with the local people

It is very cheap but its takes you much longer! The bus will make lots of stops because there are lots of passangers with all kind of destinations.

You have to take 2 times different buses

to reach Bukit lawang .

1.First take the local bus called

ALS

(ANTAR LINTAS SUMATRA)

From medan kualanamu international air port to binjai it will take 2 hours.

When you arived at binjai station you have to take a tuk tuk to reach TANAH LAPANG BINJAI to get the second bus.

That bus called

2.PEMB SEMESTA

Then this bus will finally bring you to Bukit lawang . iIt will take about 3 hours .

The last bus can be

at 4:30 PM, 6:30 PM,OR 7:30 PM

(NO FIXED HOURS,WELCOME TO INDONESIA )

So please be sure to reach binjai before 4:30pm or otherwise take the tourist bus

Then when you arived at bukit lawang we will pick you up

Option three

Tourist bus

If you looking for a bit more comfortable than option two.

At this option we can organize for you a pick up/drop off from/to Medan Kualanamu airport by tourist (shared) bus .

The tourist bus pick up at the airport is running from 8 am

to 4pm and you can be asked to wait if some other people are arriving after you.

For the drop off back to the airport by tourist bus there is only one depature per day from Bukit lawang at 8:30 am. So be suret to have a flight after 2:30 pm!

We can arrange this option for you.

Tourist bus cost 210.000 IDR per person (12 €)

If you are the only one to the pick up they might charge you 250.000 IDR OR 300.000 IDR
